Billing Representative (Remote)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Representative to support accurate, timely billing for our home care and wellness services. The ideal candidate has healthcare or home care billing experience, is comfortable with invoicing, claims, and account follow-up, and handles client questions and confidential information with professionalism and care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and send invoices and claims for private-pay and payer-based services
- Post payments, reconcile accounts, and follow up on outstanding balances
- Answer client billing questions professionally and with empathy
- Verify service records against billing and flag discrepancies
- Protect client information under HIPAA
Qualifications
- Experience in medical, home care, or healthcare billing preferred
- Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding, claims processing, and accounts receivable is a plus
- Proficiency with billing software, QuickBooks, and Excel
- Attention to detail and discretion with confidential information
